Support and collaboration in the UK

SMEF trustee and businesswoman, Catherine Brady, is working with us to increase the income of the women's sewing co-operative, currently £3-7 average per month. The talents of a young group of family & friends - art and design students/graduates - are being employed to come up with new product ideas, design new products (that the women can adapt) and create new marketing materials.
The first step in this collaboration has been the development of new products for Christmas.

In addition, Catherine continues to work with a Business Enterprise group of 6th form pupils from Margaret and Kate's old school, the Ursuline Convent in Wimbledon, London, to promote this type of social enterprise, develop business skills and support Santa Maria.
